Publication of SAR: Adult A

Tuesday, June 27, 2017

A Safeguarding Adult Review has now been published.

Today we published the first Safeguarding Adult Review carried out by the LSAB.

The purpose of a Safeguarding Adult Review (SAR) is to reflect on how agencies have worked together and identify if there are ways in which services can be improved to better safeguard vulnerable adults.

The SAR in relation to Adult A highlighted key learning and recommendations which the SAR Sub Group are working to address.  A learning brief has been produced to support agencies in recognising and implementing improvements that could be made.  Good practice was also highlighted during the review, which is reflected in the report and learning brief.

The Overview Report and Learning Brief can be accessed here.
