LANCASHIRE'S MULTI-AGENCY NEGLECT STRATEGY 2019-21

Monday, April 1, 2019

We have launched our refreshed multi-agency strategy to assist practitioners in tackling Neglect.

Neglect is the ongoing failure to meet a child or young person's basic needs – it is the most common form of child abuse.  The strategy comes with supporting resources such as a quick reference guide and a short clip to summarise the purpose of the strategy and some of the key elements of neglect.  Good practice materials have also been collated from national organisations to support practitioners in confidently identifying and assessing neglect appropriately.

Access the strategy and supporting resources here.
