HMICFRS Child Protection Inspection

Her Majesty's Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire and Rescue Services (HMICFRS) report into Child Protection is being published today, 8 March 2018
The Constabulary shared the outcome of the inspection with the Lancashire Safeguarding Children Board (LSCB) at the conclusion of the visit by HMICFRS and multi-agency partners who sit on the Board are committed to supporting the delivery of the action plan.
One of the roles of the LSCB is to seek assurance from all agencies in respect of the quality of safeguarding and the Constabulary is no exception. We welcome the open and committed response the Constabulary has made to the inspection findings and will support the improvement process and provide challenge to ensure the required action is carried through.
