Covid-19 and Safeguarding for Volunteers

The Children's Safeguarding Assurance Partnership and Safeguarding Adults Boards have published a new 7 minute briefing for use during the COVID-19 pandemic. The briefing is intended to be an introduction to safeguarding guidance for volunteers from all agencies who may have no prior knowledge or experience. Blackburn with Darwen, Blackpool and Lancashire Safeguarding Boards also have a range of e learning available which is accessible to all Lancashire volunteers.

The Lancashire Safeguarding Children Board ceases to exist with effect from 29th September and in its place will be the new Blackburn with Darwen, Blackpool and Lancashire Children's Safeguarding Assurance Partnership (CSAP). Resources and training are still available for you to access and all pages and documentation will be updated in due course.
